Hi, I'm Dan. My mission is to help others achieve more than they thought they were capable of.
I'm Dan, an Executive Coach for high-performing leaders and the Regional Sales Director at Stripe, where I lead a team of enterprise executives across Southeast Asia, India and Korea while serving as CEO and board member for Stripe Malaysia. And if you wonder why dnle - that's my internal name at Google and Stripe :)
My leadership journey spans 15+ years across startups, management consulting, and tech. I've built Groupon's first pre-sales teams, advised Volkswagen China on their People's Car Project, and led Google Vietnam's Ads team growth from 5 to 75+ members.
I became a coach after experiencing my own leadership crucible. Despite outward success, I felt stuck and unfulfilled, constantly searching for meaning while struggling with a challenging manager and work culture. Working with coaches transformed not just my career but my entire approach to leadership - igniting a passion to help other high-achievers discover their authentic path.
My coaching integrates neuroscience principles with practical leadership frameworks, helping clients sharpen their decision-making (IQ), deepen their self-awareness (EQ), and develop authentic presence (BQ). This approach creates lasting transformation for founders, new leaders, and executives seeking greater impact.
My unique perspective comes from being Vietnamese-born and German-raised. Growing up in a small German village fuelled my curiosity for the world, leading me to live across 9 countries - zigzagging between East and West. This cross-cultural journey, combined with working 15 different part-time jobs by age 20, gave me an uncommon empathy for diverse leadership challenges and a hunger for continuous growth.
Beyond my professional life, I'm passionate about being a dad, personal growth (coaching, meditation), startups (new tech, founders mindset), sports (football, tennis, yoga, scuba diving), music (playing guitar and singing), and exploring global food and cultures.
